Welcome to Loom, the renowned Drider city of commerce! The "Wen of Web," the "City of Lace", the "Weaver's Den."
Vendors from across Darkreach and from above the surface make their way Loom to try their hands at making coin in the Silk. Those with the misfortune of carrying the burden of too much coin can test their luck at the Spindler's Trap, where dice and card are the universal language.
Many a traveler are invited to dine with the locals, that is until they learn denizens live in hanging houses that sway with the traffic above. Most will politely decline after this realization and spend their nights at the lively (and far more stationary) Fire Fringe Tavern.
Below, visitors may visit the Weaver's Nest to receive blessings from the goddess. Or, perhaps they sit a spell to listen to the priests weave tales of the Weaver's deeds. Speak not of Lolth within these walls, a twisted corrupted derivative of the Weaver created by heinous cults.
Bask in the merriment of the city center, where many Drider bards strike up impromptu sessions by plucking at the street threads. The vibrations can even be felt at the Thread Theater should enough join. Citizens take advantage of the threads of their city, connecting their hanging houses with thin spider threads and send messages through vibrations. The City guards are able to rely messages from the base level this way.
At the base of the city hands the legendary Minervan Academy, where Drider wizards and alchemists perfect their crafts. Directly across sits the Needle Waters, a weapons market that many alchemists visit to sell their more "experimental" blades.
So come, balance on the fine threads of Loom and feel the plucked heartbeat of the city.

Very much inspired by the Drow city Ched Nasad in the Forgotten Realms; I loved the sideways view they have of that city map!
(And yes, I love the concept of Driders because I am a general spider fan, and am completely ignoring the official lore because DARN IT, I want cute friendly jumping spider Driders!)
