Situated on the volcanic (hence the name "charred city") slopes of Païlos, the westernmost of the Cyclopean Islands is famed for its widely known map library and its famous Love Grottos under the Tmple of Rahja. For travelers to the Lands of the Far West it is usually the last stop before entering the perilous waters of the Sea of the Seven Winds where the God of Travels Aves looks kindly upon those brave explorers.
