#16: Trader Jim's Jungle Joint

Trader Jim’s Jungle Joint is a riverside saloon in the heart of the jungle. The establishment was founded by the notorious “Trader Jim” after a run-in with local law enforcement resulted in the sinking of his smuggling boat. He salvaged what he could from the river and used it to build the shack from which he now operates.

What’s On Tap? Trader Jim serves a variety of rums from unlabeled bottles of uncertain provenance. These are typically served mixed with syrups and juices that almost disguise the rancid burn of the poor-quality spirits.

Meet the Staff: Trader Jim’s Jungle Joint is owned and operated by a former rum smuggler who adopted the pseudonym “Trader Jim” while on the run.
