Here is my point of view on what the Basilisk Gate of Baldur's Gate could look like.
The central avenue on the map has its own name: Eternal Heroes, something more glorious since those who come to Baldur's Gate aspire to greatness.
The large structure on the right is a kind of war gallery, with the front part of the first floor dedicated to the following shops:
- Shield and Glory (The Blue)
- Guardian's Blade (The Yellow)
- Dragon's Fire (The Gray and Red)
The back part is accessed by an alley that leads to a small stable on the right side, while on the left side, some tables with umbrellas await the hungry. There, the entire central floor and the second floor are part of an inn called:
- Auberge of the Valiant.
The upper right part, also accessed by another alley, is a small restaurant with fresh seafood. Its name is:
- Neptune's Feast.
Still in the same alley, there is a small square, and in front of it, a small monastery of Lathander, the God of the Dawn.
The monastery has an inner garden with a beautiful statue and some cushions on the ground. Still in the same building, the large mansion is a seafood and maritime goods store called:
- Ocean's Bounty.
On the left side of the avenue, there is a sort of boardwalk. Right in front, there is the distillery called:
- Dragon's Breath
And behind it, a festival with drinks and food takes place. Further back, there are various market stalls, many selling only fruits, vegetables, and farm animals.
Near the walls is the fountain called:
- Elandor
A symbol of elven art. Further up, there is a small mobile house in green colors; in front of it, there is an exhibition of weapons and spices from Kara-Tur, a country further to the east of the Sword Coast.
Next to it, there is a stall selling alchemical items, potions, scrolls, and elixirs. This is the magical shop called:
- Enchanted Essence.
Past the stall, there is a small street that leads to the back of the grand circus called:
- Mystic Spectacle.
On the other side of this street, there is a two-story building; in it, a small candy shop called:
- Sweet Delights.
Catches attention with a wedding cake, sweets, and music. Still in the same building, further ahead, there is a clothing and toy store called:
- Joyful Treasures.
Which overflows with the flow of customers coming out well-dressed and children happy with their new toys.
Finally, on the same boardwalk, next to the clothing store, a small alley leads to a blacksmith's exhibition, with workbenches full of tools, weapons, armor, and a cannon. His workshop also seems to be his home. In his courtyard, through the wall, one can see a golden statue of a beautiful elf with a bow and arrow, and also a marble pool. The name of the blacksmith's workshop is:
- Elenwe's Forge.
In honor of the legendary elven blacksmith who reforged the Scepter of Selune, the Moon God.
Well, that's all. I hope that if anyone reads/gets interested in the map/theme, they have amazing adventures.
