Shady Inn

This small and cozy Inn seems welcoming enough for a small town inn. A few of the locals seem to be a bit rough and others quiet and shady. But that is to be expected in a town like this. There is a small area outside to stable horses if needed. Inside you find a small inn with tables crammed in. the bar has decent local ale, wine and a few common spirits for those with enough coin. Simple food is served from the kitchen. Upstairs there is the owners fairly lavish room, a room for a staff/family member, three simple two-bed rooms and the "Oney moon suite" right at the end for those seeking a little more luxury (or as luxury as this place can get).

Optional hidden area: (if you don't want this and are using Roll20 or similar just leave greyed out and have a nice little cozy inn).

If you want to include it then there is a small torture room hidden in the cellar. It has two cages and some nasty torture equipment. The entrance is through a secret door hidden at the back of a wardrobe.

This could belong to the local criminal underworld/gang. They might force or intimidate the landlord into letting them use the basement. Down there they deal with rival gangs, people that have crossed them or tried to disrupt their business. There is the back door to the Inn conveniently by the stairs to the cellar, perfect for anyone wanting to get down their subtly without drawing attention.

If you want to hint at something odd to your players, maybe they could be told by a regular patron that they have noticed the landlord doesn't often use his room, instead they think he might be sleeping behind the bar. Maybe they have seen odd people they don't recognize in the landlords room. As if he was letting someone use his room. Lots of options to create whatever story you want....or not at all and just have a nice little inn.
