A Word From the Inkarnator
This piece is an introduction to my parallel story line to the Infernum Infinitus called the Unveiling, my near-future dystopia. I am planning a whole line of artwork around this home brew RPG world, a redesigned Earth, otherwise it is set in the world we know. Sadly my game is on a standstill at the moment due to conflicting schedules, so I am focusing on designing the art.

Description
"The world has changed. A plague ravaged the Earth, and if that wasn't enough, massive floods and hurricanes took out much of what we once knew as civilization. Following a colossal earthquake, humanity could have believed Mother Earth was trying its best to get rid of it once and for all. No one knows why all these natural disasters occurred in such close proximity, but it really seemed like the apocalypse was upon us.
"Washington D.C was all but annihilated by the emergence of a strange, dauntingly large crimson mountain that looked nothing like any on the planet. North America and South America both were conglomerated into a single nation that was renamed Amero by a dictator named Emanuel Vicci, who then crowned himself Emperor. The militia he formed then became the Great Amerian Legion.
The Legion's immediate priority thereafter was to take a closer look at the bizarre mountain's physicality, as there were many reports that the stone made bone shapes in the rock formations. Upon their investigation, minerals never before discovered were found running through the rock, one of which was an even darker red than the mountain itself. Emanuel Vicci ordered its excavation plans to commence almost as soon as he was given the news.
"But even stranger things have been happening all over the world: More and more reports of ghost sightings among other things emerged from the firmament, and magic was discovered not to be as fictitious as skeptics originally thought. And what will come of all this? No one dared draw any correlations or theories, in fear the Legion would execute them. What does this all mean? We should likely expect to encounter something much worse than... ghost sightings. I have a very bad feeling about all this."
