Medieval Dominion

Y'el Themar: Once a thriving elvish city, it was overthrown by the dark elves when they erupted from the depths. Their necromancers and undead minions overran the city killing all the inhabitants. Not much is known since the elven city was lost.

The Gromfel Firerange: is home to the Battlehammer and Ironfist clans. It is feared that these dwarven clans went mad in their pursuit for the Heart of the Mountain which led to the great war with the fire giants. Murmurings among the dwarven clans have been heard as far as Dun Muldir that their kin may have formed dark alliances with the residents of the Gromfel Firerange. The northern dwarven kingdoms have not heard from them in centuries and fear that they have either lost their way or are no more.

Bleeding Eye Hollows: These caverns are home to the goblins of Clan Bloody Eye and are servants to the fire giants that dwell within The Howling Depths.

The Howling Depths: Long ago, Sungrog King of the Fire Giants, had been driven from The Howling Depths and was making his last stand against the dwarves upon the peak of the blackened pinnacle. The remaining giants could not hold against the overwhelming legions of dwarves. As their numbers dwindled a mighty black dragon named Dacath Grekul, lured by the sounds of battle and the scent of dwarven flesh, offered her assistance. Dacath Grekul called out in a bellowing voice to the Fire Giant King, "Pledge your eternal allegiance to me and I will save you!". Sungrog, having no other choice obliged and with glee in her eyes Dacath Grekul scourged the dwarven armies. The Fire Giants now protect the Black Dragonflight and their broodlings. Nevertheless, The Howling Depths are a vast expanse with many seeking refuge within its labyrinth of tunnels. Tales of eyes in its darkest depths remain.

The Blackened Pinnacle: The Black Dragonflight roosts within the flames. Nary a traveler has returned.

Kun Doral: The fortress of Clan Battlehammer. This was once residence to the legendary king Rangron Brellock. He perished in the fires of the Blackened Pinnacle during the War of the Fire Giants. With no leadership, their numbers decimated and faltering morale the remnant of clan battlehammer took refuge within Kun Doral. A courier made its way to Dun Mul'dir detailing the events and their requests for aid as the goblins of the Bleeding Eye Hollows were besieging the fortress. Envoys from the northern kingdoms have never returned.

Kom Badir: The fortress of Clan Ironfist. Home of king Duldrus Drunkguard who conspicuously escaped unscathed from the scourging of the Blackened Pinnacle. No word has been heard since the War of the Fire Giants.

Mistmoore Keep: The ancestral human kingdom. After King Elric's death the dukes of Norfel argued who would become king since Elric had no heir. Incensed by greed the dukes' arguments escalated with no resolution in sight. Finally, the King's second in command, a fanatic paladin named Solomon Dawnward, banished the dukes of Norfel. Compelled by righteous indignation, he and the other fanatical paladins of Mistmoore denied any further allegiance to a king, instead submitting their lives to the pursuit of the light. The kingdom's isolation and the paladins' religious fervor has turned its citizens into zealots.

The Shadowed Halls: Centuries ago this keep was once residence to a young and ambitious duke named Huvud Peiden who planned to overthrow Mistmoore. Legend has it that a dark sorcerer named Lusrindril Sunthorn offered her aid in the duke's conquest only to betray him. Shadowy figures can be seen upon the walls and the howls of the tormented can be heard from those that draw near.

The Mines of Dun Al'Gal: The mines were an extension of Dun Muldir and home to the Frostbeard Clan. The Mines of Dun Al'Gal were a sprawling dwarven city, but now a haunt of death and darkness. In the age of the great dwarven king, Rangron Brellock, Frostbeard miners breached the Goblin and Orcish catacombs now known as The Warrens. The constant wars have since dwindled the dwarven numbers and the remnant of the Frostbeard Clan now remain within the safety of Dun Muldir.

The Darrows: Bolstered by the growing darkness within the depths of Norfel and disturbed by the incessant sounds of the overworld the spider queen, Lloyth, has dispatched her minions to ravage the Lands of Norfel in preparation for the coming age.

Weeping Eye Burrows: Home to the Weeping Eye clan, these goblins attack any who enter their domain. It is rumored that within the depths of the burrows a vast darkness is growing and spreading beneath the lands of Norfel.

Gnoll Wood, Blackpaw Hold, Blackpaw Den: Home to the Blackpaw Gnolls.
