The Emberstone is an obsidian drakkar owned by the merchant Juliak Merrick of Travar. Unlike other drakkars, this one is made of stone, similar in construction to the stone galley, The Obsidian Flyer, owned by the same trading house.

The Emberstone is outfitted for fire mining operations over Death's Sea, a sea of molten lava with rich deposits of True Fire. Note the orichalcum containers for holding kernels of true fire, metal hatch and steering, fire-hardened oars, and stone anchor.
