Experimented here with a two-step technique for making floating islands. I made the main portion ("the dish") as a separate map before running it through a transparent jpg maker and importing it as a stamp. Then I attached the webbing and jagged rocks on the underside of the island. Someday I might fix up the underside so all the stamps aren't overlapping so messily (the sides of the mountain are especially rough). But as a proof of concept, I'm happy with this.
