Companion map to Redwood mine and River Road, this plant crushes the gold bearing quartz in a water powered stamper battery, then separates the gold with a long riffle table. A dwarven smelter refines the gold and turns it into bars. The heavy ox carts move through the refinery, dropping off ore and picking up the waste sand, before looping around to return to the mine (dumping the sand on the way). The barracks on the upper level house the small garrison.
