A Word from the Inkarnator
This is not really a map, it is a mapping kit for anyone interested in creating modern, or cyberpunk themed maps for their games. The original idea was conceived by mtoboekid11, who also calls herself mouselet11 on Reddit, and when she showed it to me, my jaw dropped. She then offered me to clone it to help her organize the groups, then I got a few ideas of my own after doing that for her, so I threw in as much extra stuff as I could after resizing the piece.
She also had help from Andraste to make the cyberpunk screen all the way to the left, so a big special thanks to her as well!
How to Use
While making more and more new items, all the while in 2k, I noticed there is a significant lag when dealing with some of these highly populated groups, so here is my best recommendation:
Clone the piece for your own personal data and name it Template, or some such. leave that one alone, then clone it again as the map you intend to make. This is where Mati's advice to think ahead on what you will make really comes in handy. To make the lag situation easier, carefully think of what you will need to create your own piece, then everything you don't need, delete it from your copy. My machine is half decent and it still lagged in 2k, when normally I edit in 3 or 4k. Otherwise, once you feel you are done editing your map, export in 4k to see the detail better, then if you are satisfied and need to open your map in 4k, do so, only after you think there will be no more editing to do.
Unless of course, your machine is just that boss, well then that is awesome! To those that have less performant operating systems, give 1k a try, then follow process as described above. To anyone this doesn't work out for, I cannot begin to apologize enough! XD All we can say is: we tried! The Inkarnate team is doing their best to make us new art, and we know that well, so we wanted to make something around this genre until such time as they are able to make an official pack for cyberpunk.
As the Inkarnate team often says, we really hope to see all your cool maps made with our kit, so if you make one, feel free to ping us on Discord to show us!
