Dunpale (Northwest)
A frigid land known for its vast tundras and icy peaks. The people here are remnants of the Frostbitten Confederacy, a once-mighty alliance of nomadic clans that fought against the Shadval Empire before its inevitable fall. Now, they struggle to survive against the encroaching cold and the merciless raiders from the Frozen Fist.
Lowland Plains
Once fertile lands, the Lowland Plains have suffered from the spreading corruption of the Toxic Mountains. Crops wither, and monsters lurk in the shadows of ruined villages. Mt. Tempen, a towering peak, holds an ancient temple said to house the last of the old gods essence.
Toxic Mountains
A cursed region, the Toxic Mountains glow with unnatural light, the result of ancient alchemical experiments gone wrong. Dire Camp is a haven for outlaws and scavengers who dare to extract volatile minerals from the glowing veins of Vengarax’s Vein, a massive chasm that spews noxious fumes.
Mercurial Wastes
A desert of shifting sands and lost cities. The Wastes were once the heart of the empire’s industrial power, but reckless experiments with quicksilver-based alchemy turned the land into a poisoned wasteland. Cracked Fork, an isolated outpost, serves as the last refuge for those desperate enough to cross this treacherous expanse.
Frozen Fist
A brutal, ice-covered land ruled by warlords who follow the ancient Code of Iron. Shipwrecks dot the coasts, their crews frozen in place, victims of the unnatural storms conjured by the cursed souls of the Dolak Rune. Legends say that the Snow Citadel, hidden deep within the mountains, holds the secret to breaking the eternal winter.
Coldmire
A land of eternal fog and haunted marshes. It is whispered that the dead do not rest here, and the Wind Dais is the only place where travelers can navigate the mist without vanishing forever. Some say Coldmire was the site of a great betrayal that doomed the empire.
