"Beneath the skies of the Everlasting Autumnal Valley there stands a bridge that crosses the highest waterfall at the beginning of that long run of water that streams to to feed the flood plains and farm land far below.

But high above the simple farm folk there lives the ancient Orden der Nachtküsse hidden within the mists that cover the Autumnal Valley year round.

The bridge to this ancient fortress is the last challenge for any foolish enough to seek out the reclusive order of monster hunters and assassins. The mists that hide their lair recede only once every ten years and it is only then that the order accepts new recruits. The journey up the valley is gruelling and necessarily perilous. Only those who can survive the valley's trials have any business seeking out the Night Kiss.

And when reaching the bridge, only the naïve would believe that their trials were at an end.
