The Price of Victory

As the dust settles on the battlefield, the wounded moan, and scavengers circle the fallen. The war between rival factions has left this stretch of land soaked in blood. But something feels wrong. A lone survivor, delirious and clinging to life, whispers with dying breath of a powerful artifact lost amidst the dead, a relic that both sides fought to claim.

The players arrive just as night falls, only to find that the dead do not rest easy. Those slain in the battle rise, bound by a curse linked to the missing relic. Now, the party must navigate the battlefield, searching for the artifact while avoiding the restless dead, looters, and the remnants of warring forces eager to finish what they started.

Will the players break the curse, claim the relic for themselves, or become yet another casualty of this forsaken battlefield?
