High City of Innistrad with the province of Gavony. Thraben is the largest walled city and the seat of the Church of Avacyn. Built as a city of walls and various bulwarks designed to keep the supernatural threats of the plane at bay, the populace of Thraben is far more protected against monsters compared to the lesser settlements. Safer still is the Cathedral itself perched high upon the rocky precipice which gives the bishops of the church a skewed perspective on how dangerous the world outside really is.
