Millennium ago the land of Aros plunged into draconic tyranny following a great war and resulting genocide. However, an angelic lead Rebellion with 13 immortal champions turned the tide and forever changed the lands of Aros. Magic has been nearly dead since the Rebellion ended a few centuries ago. Artifacts, and magical creations started to malfunction or falter. Only creatures born of magic, and the immortal champions can easily practice magic. All other arcanists must study the weave for decades to learn a simple arcane trick. Until yesterday when magic returned to citizens across the land, old artifacts screamed to life and people suddenly began practicing simple magic when before it was not possible.
