Located in the Outlands that surround Sigil, the City of Doors, Automata houses the gateway to the Plane of Mechanus, the plane of lawful neutrality. All buildings of the town were constructed to fit the rigid and precise nature of the town. Composed of grey stone with red brick roofs, the interior layouts were similar if not identical regardless of purpose whether it be government offices, workshops, housing or retail shops.
