Created by the great titans in the old days, Elion has winding, powerful rivers sculpting their way from the Tyrriad Mountain range to Lytheria Lake. One will hear the sounds of dwarves hard at work mining for ore within the Tyrriad Mountains. Perhaps they wish to travel North, and study in a university in the great Elven capital of Makoun. Perhaps they wish to go South, into the Southern Forest, and train at the Archer Academy of Kaecea. In the far, far North, one will find the Nivea, a people who escaped persecution by moving into Kholdara. Maybe if they wish to travel East to the three kingdoms of the Humans, the melting pot culture of Seton could draw their attention. If Seton isn't to their liking, there is always Hassia to the North. Hassia is a military powerhouse always looking to expand and build. Massive cities that stretch as far as the eye can see will be found there, such as Oubolet, Landria, or the capital city of Quint. To the North of Hassia lies Astol, a seafaring country always looking to explore new horizons. With a large, powerful navy and advanced ship technology they are not a foe to be taken lightly. The bustling capital city of Fremoor sits on the center of Astol Island, where one can find large ports full of sailors. Travel where you wish, but always, always travel with caution.
Let's revisit the Dwarves. The dwarves have found themselves in the Tyrriad Mountain Range, with five major cities. Each city, Bandilor, Aeraison, Tryphast, Dustriol, and Phenyth, operates individually. Because of this, these city states make an effort to avoid war. The cunning leaders will instead play off war, raising prices of goods and selling to both sides of the conflict. The Dwarves are not a race which one would want to fight, as they have the most skilled smiths, and highly defended cities. Each city has a unique defense system, from Aeraison sitting atop a mountain to Tryphast, which only has secret tunnels for entrances into a hollowed out mountain.
The beautiful, diverse world of Elion is not without its troubles. Only a few hundred years removed from a great war between the Orcs and Dark Elves against the Elves and Humans, a dark army known as the undead has now swept across the land. Nothing is known of the origin, or leader of this army, only that they destroy entire cities and kill anyone and everyone they find. Entire kingdoms are collapsing, and for those who have survived, starvation is creeping in in the midst of a cold, dreary winter. It is here where we enter the life of a young teen boy from Hassia, known as Rori.
