The year is 912 A.G.M. (After Great Muuve). The islands Metten Nors, Metten Sull, Terahibia, Tier and Ashenmoon, alongside the Starfall Archipelago, comprise the continent of Devonia.

Devonia is plagued with constant earthquakes of unnatural origin, named Muuves/Muuvings, which created the islands of mold them to this day. The Great Muuve was the cataclysmic event that created the land and is used as a benchmark in the calendary for Devonia.

The continent is home to humans, primarily, but is also populated by the other races in smaller quantity, who came in search of the riches of the land.

Around 400 years ago, the island of Metten suffered a violent earthquake that split it into two, Metten Nors and Metten Sull.

Devonia is the most recently settled continent in the Known World, with the first settlements being built around 12 A.G.M., 900 years ago. The entire region follows a feudal system with independent city-states, but represented internationally by the Devon Federate, chosen by the lords of each city state through an election that takes place in the island of Tier every 12 years.
