The large meeting room in the safe house seems comfortable, if austere. A wood and leather door – unusual in Tyr – blocks the single entrance to the room. A large carpet scattered with cushions lies in the center of the room, while more cushions lie stacked roughly near the door. Along the stone and mortar walls, a trio of braziers emit light, heat, and sweet-smelling smoke. Along the walls, hanging boxes decorated with oasis scenes hold various live plants. A faint hum in the air reminds you that these rooms are warded against eavesdroppers. As you look about the room, you recognize some fellow members of the Veiled Alliance, but see no sign of either Sartaj or Marama, who you were called here to meet.
