After staying the night in a seemingly random boulder field, you and your companions start to realize its actually the top of an ancient buried ruin. As you investigate you discover a window hidden behind some foliage, in what must have been the top of an old tower now long buried. As you enter this long forgotten temple to the sun god Heliod, you discover, much to your dismay, the other half of the tower, including the stairs, is completely collapsed. As you prepare, to climb down the precarious fifty feet into the rubble below, you begin to get excited at the prospect of exploring this abandoned temple all to yourselves. Little do you realize, that another creature has burrowed through into the temple and taken up residence.
