The fifth floor for the magical Tower of Erlathan, something that I'm just making up as I go I suppose. This floor is considered a rest stop. The players have cleared three puzzles and are arrive on a floor with guest rooms.
Your immediate thought upon entering this floor is that you've reached the top of the tower, as you notice a glass ceiling in the center of the room with sunlight shining through; but then you notice the stairway on the opposite end of the room.
At first you're a bit thrown off, wondering what the challenge is this time, but as you move around the room you notice a small kitchen space, a lounging area, and two cozy bedrooms. Perhaps this is a brief respite in your journey up the tower?
Upon inspecting parts of the room:
- The kitchen area has all the amnenities and supplies needed to cook meals for a group of people for a few days.
- If a player attempts to fly up toward the glass ceiling, a powerful force will gently push them back down. A player can push through this with a DC 20 strength check.
- If a player touches the glass portion of the ceiling they'll feel the same marble as the rest of it. They can then figure out that its just an elaborate illusion that provides not just the sight of a glass window with sunshine, but also the gentle warmth of the sun.
