The history of this forge begins with the slaying of the Mountain God Dreyar by another unnamed Titan at the mouth of an active Volcano. Through Dreyar's rich blood flowed pure liquid Obsidian and overtime it harden as it mixed with molten rock creating a great cavern. Eons later the dwarves found the cavern tomb of the slayed god and build at wonderous forge.

The Obsidian Forge became the greatest achievement of the Dwarves and soon all the races wanted the forge's weapons, armor, and elegant metalwork for themselves. But all great things have endings and the forge was no expectation. War broke out among the races and soon the war for the forge came to the dwarves doorstep. Instead of letting another race control the forge, the dwarves sealed it away and erased all records of it and its location. Now centuries later it still sits in ruin awaiting a new master to begin hammering echoes in the great cavern again.

*After seeing the new Obsidian stamps and background paint I really wanted to make something with it. So I figured with the ruined contest starting I'd incorporate into the a ruined map.
