Sankt-Odder is a small town on the coast of the Island of Sankt-Theodr. The town is one of the biggest commercial hubs in the Imperial Colonies of the Western Islands,. A large part of the ships leaving from the Southern Islands transit here and stop for a few days before leaving for the continent of Occidentus.
The town is surrounded by the coast on the south, a deep native jungle n the west and the plantations on the north and south. Two small rivers, the Kroc and the Sigder join inside of the city. The town has three main gates, to the north, east and next to the port.
The town is divided between four districts: the market, the abbey, the coastline and the fortress.
Closest to the gate is the fortress district. It consists mainly of housing for the plantations workers, taverns and inns for the sailors, hubs for the travelers and guild members and of course the fortress, It hosts a small detachment of the regular army as well as two companies of the Imperial Expeditionnary Force.
The abbey is located on the eastern part of the town and is built around the oldest building of the town, the Abbey of Sankt-Erner, patron of the explorers. It is mostly known as the district of artisans and their employees but it also boasts a small market and the town center where the richest nobles and merchants reside, close to the Imperial Temple.
The coastline neighbourhood is situated on the shores and is made of small canals intertwined emerged waters. It's the place of residence of fishermen, most of which are of mixed local and Imperial descent. this district has a very bad reputation due to the high criminal activity and the importance of the local thieves guild, that use it as their turf.
The market is where goods coming from the Southern Islands are bought and sold before being shipped by merchants. It hosts large barns used to stock a large quantity of goods, as well as trading buildings and an artisans hubs.
The port is situated outside of the walls and can hosts approximately 20 great ships. It also contains a large naval workshop.
