Tomb Chamber 6 - Chamber of Reflected Light

Theme: A radiant chamber of polished brass and gold, its surfaces gleaming with reflected light. Near the entrance a beam of pure radiance bursts from the wall striking the first of several crystal orbs mounted on pedestals throughout the room. The sealed door at the far end bears no lock, only a scorched indentation where light once struck.

Puzzle: Redirect the light through a sequence of orbs to amplify its intensity, direct it at the door to destroy it.

Each orb can be rotated to align with the next orb in sequence. To start and stop the rotation there is a glyph on each pedestal. Once stopped;

DC15 sleight of hand or relevant skill to stop the beam at the right angle.

Trap: crossing the light beam causes damage

Trigger: Triggering orbs out of sequence, failed check causes the beam to reflect off the walls catching all in the room before shutting down. With a failed check all orbs rotate and the beam dims.

Effect: 5d12+10 radiant damage and a DC17 Con ST or be blinded for 1 minute.
