The Surface & The Ghost Ship

The adventure begins at the sunlit surface, where the ghost ship drifts eerily still. Its tattered sails flap in a wind that doesn’t blow. The water around it circles in a slow, unnatural whirlpool.

Below the hull, an enormous octopus lurks its tentacles unfurled, watching. Its psychic warning hits the party like a thought dropped into their heads:

WHAT YOU SEEK MAY BRING ABOUT YOUR END, TURN BACK.

Whether they listen or not, one sudden strike from the octopus sends them tumbling off the deck and into open water.

They must make their way down into the depths to find a portal of an underwater city before their lungs explode.

Of course the party is besieged by underwater adversaries and plants that want to digest them.
