I’m excited to share my newest battle map with you: Fortified Medieval Town (78x72).

Perched atop a gentle hill, this small but resilient town is encircled by towering stone walls and sturdy defensive towers, standing as a testament to generations of vigilance and survival. Two fortified gates mark its western and eastern entrances, connected by a road that cuts straight through the settlement, guiding travelers from one side of the town to the other.

At the center of the town lies a lively market square built around a grand fountain and a statue of a mounted hero, a legendary figure who, according to local tales, saved the town from destruction during a brutal invasion many years ago. Even now, his presence watches over the bustling market stalls, where merchants trade goods and townsfolk gather to exchange news. Nearby, the sounds of hammer on anvil ring out from a well-known blacksmith’s forge, while laughter and warm firelight spill from a welcoming tavern that has become a favorite meeting place for locals and adventurers alike.

Within the walls you’ll also find a stone church overlooking a quiet graveyard, barracks for the town guard with a spacious training yard, and several wells providing fresh drinking water. Decorative fountains and statues dot the streets, adding a sense of history and pride to the settlement. Stables, shops, and humble homes line the roads, while trees and patches of cultivated land fill the spaces between buildings. Some citizens maintain gardens and keep livestock within the safety of the walls, though most of the surrounding fields and orchards stretch beyond the town, where farmland rolls outward into the countryside. To the northwest, outside the walls, a solitary windmill turns steadily with the breeze, serving both the town and nearby farms.

A road encircles the outer walls before branching off toward the northwest and east, offering clear paths for travel, trade, or approaching threats. The town is presented in three seasonal variants: summer, autumn, and winter - making it an ideal location for a long-term stay, recurring adventures, or a permanent base of operations for your party as the world around them changes with time.
