Overgrown Root Tunnel

This winding forest tunnel is composed of twisted brambles, tree roots, and clumps of mossy earth. During an unusually wet summer, the swelling ground water washed away tons of soil. When this underground spring eventually dried up, it left a series of large cavities beneath the tree roots. These overgrown tunnels break through to the surface in places, and streaks of sunlight glimmer through curtains of mossy vines.

The grid is 16 inches by 21 inches - a good size for printing out on a color inkjet printer. It will fit onto four standard sheets of paper (size A4 in Europe, or US 8.5 x 11 inch - it will take all 4 sheets if you print it to scale.)
