The Mines of Khalmrad were said to be plentiful over a thousand years ago. Not they are just a hallow husk of what they once were. Highwaymen and scoundrels sometimes used it as a hideout but as of recently, has been carved up by a tribe of kobolds. Pecking holes in to walls, engineering spike pits, dart traps, fire traps, and the occasional boulder trap. Adventures be wary, each step could be your last.
