Welcome to Phallus travelers! The city may have suffered much damage during the angelic occupation, but it has since been fully rebuilt, and expanded! You may find it particularly crowded for its size, but that is because it has attracted much immigration since the angels all left the Infernum Infinitus. There are plenty of good reasons for this: first, the weather is mild and temperate, the Queen, beyond being stunningly beautiful, is a just and fair ruler in the opinions of most, and though the island of the Thorn Garden is small, there is a plethora of natural resources. Plus, the locals are among the most welcoming in all the Central Infinitus.
There is little crime here to speak of, but that is a fair warning that you follow the rules. Queen Agravia has a zero tolerance policy on criminals, whose wings are severed, if they have any, and are thrown into the arena as gladiators, whether they like it or not.
If you are visiting, make sure you go and see the Coliseum of Desdemadri matches, they are very exciting! You may also notice many people on rooftops, and that is because most Thorn Garden succubae are born with wings. There are also plenty of strangely civilized imps here, but most travelers from other regions don't trust them. Phallus is the proud icon of the final stand against the angels, as this was the first city to be delivered from their clutches and where Infernal Master Azathoth held his main base during that era.
If you are coming to seek a job, there is plenty of work in the spirit crystal mines just outside the city. Take care if you plan on venturing out of the city into the swamps however, they are filled with wild styghs, the winged creatures you may see around the ports in any city. They are not aggressive at base, but can be easily startled and may attack you if they are hungry. Otherwise, enjoy your stay travelers!
