Part of my Homebrew scenario, Occidens is one of the continents from Root, a plane abundant in essence.

Composed by a huge mainland, archipelagos and several smaller islands, it's a continent full of life and rich in minerals.

The huge forest at the center of the mainland is based on the amazonian forest, and many of the biomes there are also South American or based on it.

Tribes, Villages, Cities, Regions and other names are based on Old Tupi, Mayan, Aztec, Latin, Old Greek and Brazilian Portuguese languages.

An event from centuries ago teared one of its biggest mountain ranges leaving an enormous rift and a floating mountain.
