Rattenkönig Villa, as the villa was previously known, once belonged to the Rattenkönig family. In 1493 DR, the Red Feather Clamdor and Vyth were tasked with removing the Rattenkönigs from their villa because of the nefarious crimes they were committing on the people of Waterdeep.

Kedat the Red, using his untold influence in the underbelly of the city, purchased the villa at auction and sought to use the grounds as the new headquarters for his mercenary guild shortly after it was freed from its former owners.

Despite being under new ownership, a new moniker, and being stuffed to the gills with guild furnishings, one thing remained constant: the bawdy front door of the main building. Intricately carved into the wood is a buxom halfling woman who offers up her rather large knockers for you to use to alert the occupants inside of your presence.

The door doesn't really mind, just don't be too handsy.
