A map of the world of Tarmanji for my campaign setting 'Roots of Tarmanji'.
The world was generated in Dwarf Fortress 0.47.05 using the GIMP plugin 'Satellite Map Maker'. I am using all of the biome, terrain and settlement features from that process and most of the evil and savagery output from that. I've overlaid it with my own cultures, themes, history and nomenclature.
The first campaign is a set in one region of the main continent, home to four god-kings who arose after the mysterious disappearance of the original gods. The first campaign is set up initially as a 'man-vs-nature' conflict. The various great trees are the remaining spiritual protectors against a complex threat from the Far Realm.
