Can I use Inkarnate for free?
You can use Inkarnate Free for as long as you want, no credit card required. If you want more than what the Free version offers, you can choose to upgrade to a paid plan. You can see the plans here.
Can I use my maps commercially?
Yes, commercial use is included with the Studio tier. Maps exported while you had an active Studio subscription remain licensed for commercial use, even after cancellation or downgrade.
Do I need to be an artist to create good maps?
Not at all! Most of our users don’t have any specialized artistic skills – in fact, we often hear how using Inkarnate helps them to develop their creative skills!
